Smart Eye has been selected by an existing customer to deliver its world leading Driver Monitoring System (DMS) software to an additional car model. Estimated revenue from the order is SEK 10 million based on estimated product life cycle projections.

Gothenburg, Sweden – July 13, 2022 – Smart Eye, the leading developer of DMS software for the automotive industry, will deliver its AI-based technology to a new car model with a North American global automaker. The client previously chose Smart Eye’s DMS software to implement in several of its previous car models and is now extending the technology to yet another.
The new car model, which will include Smart Eye technology, has been an iconic luxury sports car for decades. It is estimated to go into production in 2024 and the estimated revenue for the order is SEK 10 million, based on product lifecycle volume projections.

Smart Eye has now received a total of 94 design awards from 14 OEMs. The combined estimated lifetime value of the current design gains is now in excess of SEK 2,385 million. The estimated lifetime value of the product from possible further design achievements with car manufacturers on existing platforms is now SEK 4,415 million.
