LEE SUMMIT, MO / ACCESS CABLE / July 13, 2022 / WEAPON International (arma.org) recently donated $20,000 in funding to the ARMA International Educational Foundation (AIEF), as part of a multi-year commitment to fund programs that help industry and information management professionals. These funds made it possible to receive 4 additional scholarship recipients, for a total of 8 for the AIEF Spring 2022 Foundation Education Scholarships program. This initiative is part of a larger joint program to raise awareness and award additional scholarships and fund educational programs, courses and conference attendance in conjunction with ARMA, the world’s leading membership organization serving professionals who manage and govern the information.

“ARMA’s recent generous donation to AIEF will go a long way in supporting the Foundation’s mission: to fund scholarships and help professionals increase their knowledge of RIM/IG,” he said. The 2022 Spring Foundation Education Scholarship Awards were presented to eight students. ARMA’s donation went to four recipients who would not have been eligible without the additional funding. Winners include Kaitlyn Greenberg, who is pursuing a Masters in Information at Rutgers University ($3,000); Teshwana Threat, who is pursuing a Masters in Library and Information Science at Louisiana State University ($3,000); Stacy Vandenput, who is pursuing a Master’s in Archives and Records Management at San Jose State University ($3,000); and Melissa Williamson, who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at the University of Guelph ($1,200). These students joined four other recipients who are studying at the University of Milwaukee, the University of South Africa and McGill University.
